headfooter is the project of born-and-raised NYC native jay henry. jay loves music. jay loves making music. specifically, music that makes people move. jay finds that the most moving. move with him. move in with him. help him carry a couch up flights of stairs. he just signed a lease on a walk up and could really use the help. he can't pay you. don't ask him to. he gets really mad when you ask him to, so don't ask him.

this is elijah!! my parents are bushwick transplants from afghanistan who came here to start a beautiful and successful family (they ended up with me and my two older sisters instead). i love to make sounds, have fun, smile, pet kitties and puppies, and sit in the sun. come to our next show and see me and my friends have fun and play together our music yayy!!!!

matt ellin here. i am a singer-songwriter who also sings and plays guitar in the band theophobia, but bass is my first love, which is why i'm so glad to contribute it to my pal jay's songs -- of which i'm a big fan. outside of music, i teach an instructional class for the elderly on how to watch the movie Drillbit Taylor on dvd and blu-ray. love rock and roll, surreal and/or upsetting films and extreme looking cartoon characters.
